I don’t know, it just feels not as good as before. The quality seems kind of worse now, or maybe cheaper feeling, which is disappointing because I liked it more previously.

I’ve been using Pennzoil for years and always felt good about sticking with it. It was one of those brands I didn’t really question, but lately I’m not feeling quite as confident as I used to.

The website feels more like it’s pushing products at me than helping me figure out what I actually need. I tried getting some clarification through support too, but it felt like I was stuck in a loop of generic answers that just sent me back to the same pages I’d already checked.

Maybe the oil itself is still totally fine, and I’m not saying I had some major problem with the product. It’s more that the overall experience has made me trust the brand a little less, which is disappointing after using it for so long.

I’ve been running Pennzoil in my truck for a while now, i just assume if the engine sounds smooth and nothing weird is happening, it’s doing its job. So far, no odd noises or issues between oil changes, even after some longer drives. Feels like the engine is well protected. I’m giving it 4 stars mostly because the price seems to jump around a bit sometimes.

The only thing was the box looked a little beat up when it arrived, kind of dented on one side. I mean, it wasn’t a huge issue, but I guess I would’ve felt better if the packaging was a bit sturdier.

I assumed I wouldn’t notice any difference after the oil change, but my gas mileage did seem to get a little better. Nothing crazy, but enough that I was like, okay, maybe this actually helped.

Most of the time the oil I use is in stock, which is great because I hate making extra trips. I just wish they had a few more size options available. Like, the product is there, but sometimes I need a bigger one or a smaller one depending on what I’m working on. Overall though, it’s usually reliable.

After using it, I did notice the engine starts up smoother than before, which is nice. But it’s still kind of noisy, honestly. Maybe that’s normal and I’m just paying too much attention to it?
